Sorry for the sudden disappearance again, the truth is I don't have any picture to show you any updates :p Anyway, last weekend was the final exam of my last MBA module, which means I don't need to attend classes anymore and I have my every Sunday back. Now, have to finish up the thesis :(
I have joined new company and enjoy my first day yesterday with lots of joy. I even got a basket full of flowers on my 1st day with a card written "Welcome On Board". Wow, feel like a VIP already! haha
Will update some photos soon. For now, there are over 40 of e-learning web courses I need to go through, this gonna be painful....

Are You Too Rigid?
Last weekend on Strategic Mgmt class, my lecturer gave us a test after finishing the chapter of Strategic Leadership. The test is about whether we are too rigid.
Most of my coursemates scored between 20-25 points. One scored the lowest with 18 points. Guess what? I scored the highest in class with 26 points !! Everyone laughed at me :( wtf
Am I too rigid? I did the test again (thinking that maybe it's due to the rush to finish the test in class, it might be a mistake), but it's not. It's still 26 points even after the 2nd attempt. Guess I need to relax myself a little, a perfect excuse to go for vacation!
Try the test yourself and find out the answer whether are you too rigid?
Note: Add up the points (a=1 point), (b=2 points), (c=3 points), and find out the answer

The Company I Work For
I have joined CSC (formerly known as CSA) since July 2008. This post is about my experience in CSC, specially only on my division/group. Other group might be different. Many said CSC follows a Chinaman management with saying like "If it's not broken, don't change it".
First of all, talking about management, CSC encourages employees to propose and submit papers on their innovative ideas of what's gonna be the next big thing. Lately, we're talking about Going Green and Earth Hour this March 28. CSC also take part in the Corporate Social Responsibility in Green IT, which will be my potential research topic for MBA. Basically about making greener data centre (re-cyclable materials), better efficiency of power consumption through virtualization, etc. It then turns to be a business value proposition to client, a win-win idea for both society and customer.
Food wise, working in CSC Malaysia in PJ has limited choices for food, boring. CSC fellow knows exactly what I mean, either the food opposite UTAR, or M&M cafe, Malay food or opposite Honeywell. Once in a while, we will go out to Section 17 as well.
However, there are unlimited Milo, Nescafe, Nespray, Lipton in provided in pantry (refilled twice everyday). Whoever works in Call Centre has vending machine with "near free" beverages -> Rm0.10 (where can you find 10 cent drinks these day?).

The gym is rather small but can say sufficient equipment lor, forcibly.
The gym
Food in M&M The parking area is rather limited if you come late, many even double parking their car. Currently there is a new parking space is beside CSC building, but have to pay :( You can opt for RM65 per month or RM4/day if you wish to park there. But still, I would rather park my car a little further to save RM4 for bfast :p

Klang Ba Ku Teh
One day, I went to my client site at Pharmaniaga, Shah Alam for IT support. After that, I went to Klang for lunch. Of course, you can't miss a nice BaKuteh if you happen to drop by Klang.
Claypot of BaKuTeh
Looking at the pic above, their menu has definitely grown with new dishes like steam fish, ginseng chicken, etc. Price wise, I would say it's rather expensive with RM18+ for one claypot of BaKuTeh (1 person), yau char kuew and a bowl of rice. Taste wise, it's above average and the portion for single person is quite enough for 2 persons.Monday, February 16, 2009

SS2 Pasar Malam
Usually on every Monday night, I'll be hanging out at SS2 Pasar Malam to walk around and have a few favorite delicacies such as lok-lok, pan cake, kim chi cake soup (RM4), chicken floss popiah (Rm2.30), fresh buns/breads (Rm1.70), dim sum (10 pieces for RM5), fried chicken chop (RM5.50 taiwan style) and many more.
chicken floss sausage bun (Rm1.70), this is highly recommended.
out from oven fresh, juicy, soft and tasted superb
The popiah is my favourite, it's always in my list everytime I go there. It's huge, crunchy and very nice. Too bad Cup has no luck of trying this yet so far :(out from oven fresh, juicy, soft and tasted superb

Experience with Aeroline
This is a review on my first trip with Aeroline which I took from KL (Hotel Corus) to Penang. When "checked in", I was given a complimentary cup of coffee coupon by Corus hotel in its coffee house while waiting for the bus.
lobby of Corus Hotel
the bottomless hot drinks by Aeroline (in the bus), i have white coffee which is too sweet for me
Overall, I'm quite satisfy with Aeroline because of its comfort seat, lounge (not so useful though), movie screening, indoor toilet, food & drinks and blanket (will be "loaned" to passengers by default).Monday, January 5, 2009

Happy New Year 2009
Happy New Year 2009 ..... it will be a special year to me. I wish for many good things to come.
First thing for sure is my car loan settlement, which supposed to be ended March 09 (p/s: I have already settled it earlier last Friday).
Second thing would be my MBA which will be over end of June 09. I can't wait to have my Sunday back !! For 2 years, Sunday has been a boring word in my life, it's so tiring like hell from 9am-5.30pm. It's exactly the same as working 6 days a week.
What else? ..... One thing I wouldn't want want to miss is .... I wish to to spend 2009 with my loved one (cup). Our love bond has definitely been stronger each year !
